(b.1971) The American flutist Jennifer Borkowski distinguishes her comprehensive career with her combination of unique training and experience as a concert soloist and teacher. In addition to her busy work as a respected flutist, both in the United States and Europe, Jennifer Borkowski has become one of the very few specialists in the world in recent years, combining sport science and music pedagogy with the theme "Musician's Stamina."

Her recently released debut solo CD, released by NAXOS of AMERICA, is titled 'COMPOSED'. She has also recorded works with Peter Ablinger and others.

Before moving to Europe, she was also a member of several American orchestras, such as the Riverside Symphony, the Princeton Symphony, the Haddonfield Symphony, and the Jubilate Deo Orchestra which performed at Carnegie Hall.

Jennifer Borkowski regularly gives master classes or guest classes for students, such as at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz for students of Dieter Flury and Herbert Weissberg or at Yale University in the USA.

As an author, Jennifer Borkowski is one of the few people worldwide who has published a book, articles and contributions to anthologies on the topic of musician's stamina, such as "Issues of stamina in new music", "Periodization and Peak Performance: It's in" the timing "or" Modernizing Practice Paradigms for New Music; Periodization Theory and Peak Performance Exemplified by Extruded Techniques for Flute ".
